At the time we were directed to the ad below, the two of us (Jen and Elle) were working via Skype. Instead of a text or video reaction to the article we read, we give you a screen capture, which was taken while we were both viewing the article and its accompanying image. For your viewing pleasure (horror?), an ad by Ralph Lauren:

That ad was manipulated -Photoshopped – by someone at Ralph Lauren. They copped to the responsibility, and have “addressed the problem.”
To be frank, we’re surprised and impressed that Ralph Lauren admitted to letting this ad come out of their fashion house. Now, we can only hope that they realize that producing it was a mistake – one that they won’t make again.

That’s just insane.
I’m actually laughing. How do they let ads like that even get through the door? It’s so obvious that whole bits of skeleton have been rubbed out!
