Even when you’ve planned a project down to the finest details, some things never go according to design.

In just a few short months, The Demoiselles has grown by leaps and bounds: five subscriptions has turned into fifty, the occasional comment grew into full-on Twitter conversations, and what started as “chicks posting pics” became a Flickr group that grows by the day.  While we’re excited by all of these changes, they’ve also made us extremely busy!

Our petite Demoiselle, Birdie, has a busy life full of amazing opportunities, including her work with local designer Deco-Modiste, her dedication to school, and her inspirational blog, Bonne-Vie.net.  These things warrant some serious attention, and that leaves less time for The (ever-expanding) Demoiselles.  Because of this, she’s unable to continue to give The Demoiselles the attention that it requires.  Though we’ll miss her input, we know that she’ll now be able to focus on kicking butt in the other areas she’s passionate about.
