I have three words:
No. More. Uniboob.
(Okay, “uniboob” isn’t a word, but bear with me, here.)
If you have big boobs, you know exactly what I’m talking about: a single band of stretch cotton, smooshing your chest into an indiscernible blob, which bounces in a single, sticky, sweaty motion despite your sports bra’s purported “support,” while the adjustable criss-crossing straps dig into your shoulders, set to their tightest setting in hopes that they’ll actually keep you from smacking yourself in the face with your own nipple…
Instead of spending hours trying on sports bras, knowing that how they feel in the store doesn’t tell me how they’ll feel on my fifth mile on the treadmill, I’ve started recycling my old t-shirt bras into makeshift sports bras: they don’t keep my breasts from moving, but they do fit my body, and keep me from developing a puddle of sweat in the center of my chest.
This experiment really makes me want to try the above bra by Natori (sold by Athleta, which is owned by the Gap, which I love) and see if its wide straps (that “won’t dig ruts into your shoulders”) and two-ply cups are as great as the reviewers say they are. Have any of you tried it?
What bra do you wear to work out?

It looks like there’s an interesting seam along the side of the cup and I think that would bother me if it showed through my shirt. I can never find sports bras that fit and stay and are actually the correct size. Good luck!

I'm trying to imagine NOT having sweaty uniboob during my workouts… RT @TheDemoiselles: What’s Your Workout Bra? http://bit.ly/a9AqZY

Yes! I love this bra. I have worked in the bra and clothing business for about 5 years, and this bra is amazing. It’s comfortable, flattering, and keeps those puppies in place. If you are smaller chested you can certainly use a traditional “uniboob” sports bra, but larger chests need more support so that tissue doesn’t weaken and boobs don’t get saggy. Love it!

I might have to try this bra. Finding the right sports bra is hard for me.

My friend who is a 32G wrote this great guest post for me at http://www.redvioletproject.com/search/label/Sports%20Bras
She’s a real athlete so I trust her opinion. I wear the Enell, but I’m going with the Bendon Extreme Out next because she speaks so highly of it.

I know I’m a little late to the party, but you should check out Freya’s Sports bra. They seperate, lift, and are a little bit fashionable too. And for serious high impact activities if you have big ta-tas, check out Shock Absorber. Just be cautious of their sizing, it is a little different.
